If you’re looking to eat and drink at the fanciest place in Swansea – with brilliant food, a potential celebrity spot and one of the best views in the world, Landland Brasserie is the place to go.
Located right on the beachfront at Langland Bay, you’ll spot well-heeled diners enjoying the sun on the balcony, eating seafood and having a beer. Sure, you might see the odd celebrity, but it’s not stuffy – it’s fine dining, but relaxed.
The interiors are beautiful and the staff are exceptional – it’s in my opinion, the nicest venue in the city. If you’re here on holiday, it’s your ‘last night’ restaurant – you may even find there’s live music as it holds jazz events too.
Langland Brasserie Menu
The food at Langland Brasserie is very good – it’s another level compared to other lunch spots in the area, but you pay for the difference in quality. The menu changes quite a bit as well, so if there’s something you fancy, don’t just assume you’ll be able to get it during your next visit.
If the prices below are a bit out of your budget – but you want to spend some time there, maybe just get one of their cakes and a drink and sit out on the patio enjoying the stunning Langland Bay.
Another option is the bar menu, which is by no means cheap, but there’s something lovely about sharing a bowl of chips while having a glass of wine.
Lanland Braserie Lunch menu
There’s a bar/lunch menu, breakfast and then dinner menu. A prix fixe menu is available Monday – Thursday between midday and 4 pm, where two courses will set you back £19.95.
The general lunch menu, available all week will set you back £28.95 for two courses and £36.95 for three.
Langland Brasserie Bar menu
I think pushing £40 for lunch is far too steep – unless it’s for a birthday treat or something, so when I go, I tend to stick to the bar menu. On it, you can pick from small plates for between £4- £12 – including Calamari Fritti, coconut bread with homemade butter and jam, and tempura courgette with a roasted tomato and basil sauce.
Bar meals run between £12 – £25, and include a bacon butty on a brioche bun with chips, mussels, fishcakes, fish and chips and a burger.
There’s also a dinner menu for a fancy night out, a breakfast menu and a roast dinner menu on a Sunday. Check out all of Langland Brasserie’s menus here.
It can get very busy – it’s a bustling and popular place, so it’s wise to book ahead, especially for breakfast, and the roast. During the summer when there are many tourists, it’s very hard to get in – so book early.
Langland Brasserie Reviews
So you know what I think of the Langland Brasserie, but what do others think?
Stunning setting on the beach front, views were great. Food was lovely and staff friendly. We went for dinner, recommend booking but walk ins are available. Can see this getting extremity busy in the summer months.
Kid-friendliness: Had our 8 month old with us and they provided a high chair and staff were friendly and accommodating. We took in a small cool bag to give them their dinner too.
There isnt 1 bad thing i can say, food was so balanced, that for the 1st time ever i never had to balance it with any seasoning, cooked to.perfection.
Service with genuine friendly smile.
Worth every penny, for sure will go there again. We had such a lovely visit to the Langland Brasserie today. The service was impeccable, the food was delicious and felt really special. The roast beef was so tasty and tender, with enormous Yorkshire puddings and delicious sides which had been handled with care, no overcooked vegetables present! It was so good we barely spoke while we ate. For pudding we had pavlova and a delicious green apple sorbet. We will be back again soon!

We have some spectacular views in Swansea and the Gower – so I’d also recommend The Lighthouse, Gin and Juice, The Beach House, The Observatory, and On the Rocks.
