DVLA Swansea

If you’re looking to get in touch with the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) in Swansea, I’ve got what you’re looking for. Whether you need to handle driving licence enquiries, find the DVLA Swansea address and postcode, or speak with customer service, this guide will provide you with everything you need.

Do you live in Wales or are you just visiting? You should know about the Common Ailment Scheme, meaning you can get typical pharmacy medicine, potentially for free. It’s amazing.

DVLA Swansea Address and Postcode

The DVLA Swansea office is a central hub for handling various licensing and vehicle registration services. If you need to visit or send correspondence, use the following address:

DVLA Swansea Longview Road Swansea SA6 7JL Wales, UK

This postcode ensures that your mail or visit is directed to the correct department within the DVLA’s Swansea location. If you are visiting, just be warned that the office isn’t in the ‘main’ bit of Swansea – it’s a bit out in the sticks, and the parking situation is dire!

DVLA Swansea Phone Number

To discuss matters over the phone, contact the DVLA Swansea office at:

DVLA Swansea Phone Number: 0300 790 6801

This number is ideal for general inquiries, checking the status of your driving licence, or other related issues.

In regards to calling costs –

General Enquiries: Calls to the DVLA’s general enquiry number are usually charged at the standard rate for 0300 numbers, which is generally included in most phone plans or can cost up to 9p per minute from a landline and slightly more from a mobile.

Specialist Services: Calls to specialist services or premium-rate numbers may incur higher charges. Here’s a link to the DVLA Government website which can give you a more specific number.

To get in touch with DVLA customer service, you can use the following:

For more complex issues, actually visiting the Swansea office in person might be the best bet for you.

That said – just taking a look at DVLA reviews on Google – it doesn’t look like it’s a brilliant experience. For example:

Absolutely rubbish service. Requested for a logbook in April it’s now the end of July. Contacted DVLA numerous times and they failed to respond especially their web chat. Do not bother as you will waste your time. Wasted over an hour on the phone. I am losing my money.

DVLA is no longer having services for the general public. It’s like a state who have their rules and they are not answerable to anyone. No phone enquiries are being picked up. No response to anyone, I would say, even in a third class country, which is a systemless, has more professionals than the DVLA nowadays having. Shame

The only way to get things from DVLA is to have them sent by Royal Mail. So when Royal Mail is failing to deliver – as it has been in my area for a month – DVLA also fails to deliver. I raised this with DVLA and was told that there was no electronic service, nor anyway to collect forms by hand. It’s 2024 people!

So yeah – wishing you luck!
